CDD is a business that attracts associate specialists in IT security and that can collectively practice the Art of Cybersecurity.  This is a difficult set of challenging disciplines that can, if properly deployed, make the very real difference for a client between a good business and an excellent one.  So many organisations often fail to protect themselves properly and operate quite unnecessary risk with their most valuable assets.

What We Do

Contract Services

CDD does not engage with businesses operatiing chains of interceding parties but only the end client with a single intermediary.   

Location specific contracts imply that CDD's head office and associated infrastructure will always be the principal venue and facilities for technical service provision.  

Higher security related services are routinely undertaken at CDD's offices.  In the event that attendance on a client's site is necessary, all such requirements must be entirely feasible, fully cost/time justified (via CDD's COIN financial modelling tool) and expensed as agreed.

CDD Interview/selection/hiring policy involving corporate clients:  CDD's consultants are generally  interviewed by substantive members of the client's staff (unless good reasons are provided to the contrary).

Interview questions designed to assess technical competence of consultants are advised and may be presented in advance of the interview, in writing, and if possible will be tackled by the consultant, again in writing.  Subsequent questioning may take place around the technical response.  

All inappropriate questions, such as those involving 'on-the-fly solution-eering' or other irrelevance will not be addressed.  SImilarly, with 'University Challenge' style general knowledge questions dressed up as something technical that someone 'should know'.

CDD does not engage with clients requiring work to be undertaken that is considered to be unlawful in any  legal jurisdiction or style of jurisprudence.

Development & Research

Research and development services are routinely undertaken at CDD's offices, and this is especailly important where specialist, sensitive research in envisaged by a client.  The facilities are purpose built, extremely discrete and physical security is tight while bespoke processes secure resultant work across the communications stack.  

All development closely follows CDD's PRINCE2-stylized implementation methodology and regular threat and vector and vulnerability re-assessment ensures all such development and operational practices are commensurate with resulting risk.
