Cookie Policy

Note:
This website does not use cookies or any other kind of intelligence gathering application software or protocols.  The ISP hosting this web presence does employ conventional logging of usage for statistical purposes only.  CDD totally abhors the use of cookies for any purpose and considered them to be a breach of privacy.

This is because cookies can be used by web servers to identity and track users as they navigate different pages on a website and to identify users returning to a website.  They may be either persistent, or merely session engineered. A persistent cookie comprises text files sent by a web server to a web browser, which will be stored by the browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date or unless deleted prior to such expiry. Session cookies however, expire at termination of the user session or browser closure. This web presence can link to the following session cookies:
  - LinkedIn
  - Facebook

Cookie Blocking:
Many browser applications permit refusal to accept cookies. For example - MS Internet Explorer you can refuse all cookies by clicking "Tools", "Internet Options", "Privacy", and selecting "Block all cookies" using the sliding selector.  Firefox you can block all cookies by clicking "Tools", "Options", and un-checking "Accept cookies from sites" in the "Privacy" box.  However, blocking all cookies may generate negative experience with many websites and some 3rd party services such as Facebook and LinkedIn will stop working.

Cookie Deletion:
Cookies present within network endpoints can be safely deleted; within MS Internet Explorer, you must manually delete cookie files (instructions available at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/278835).   Firefox offers cookie deletion, first ensuring that cookies are to be deleted when you "clear private data" (by clicking "Tools", "Options" and "Settings" in the "Private Data" box) and then clicking "Clear private data" in the "Tools" menu.   Similarly, this may have a negative impact on the usability of many websites as cookies are need for operation of most modern websites/3rd party integration features.

Feel free to contact CDD if anything here requires clarification.
