WAP, J2ME, etc
As discussed elsewhere, we work with Nokia, Siemens, Sony Ericsson, Sprint and others in many fields including mobile websites (push and pull), mobile applications, and operating systems. And it doesn't stop with mobile and handhelds. We can enable machine to machine (M-2-M) in many formats.
Standards are still emerging. There are two main issues. The business requirements and the delivery mechanism.
The business requirements may demand messaging (SMS or MMS), mobile browsing (including support for any or all of WAP, cHTML, and XHTML basic), downloadable applets (including Personal Java, J2ME, and C++), or direct calls to the operating system (currently including Symbian 6.0, 6.1, 7.0 and Windows CE).

On top of this, mobile and handheld devices have a bewildering array of screen sizes and colour resolution and other idiosyncrasies.
And to cap it all, communications protocols include WAP, GPRS, Bluetooth and others.
We work with a range of devices and a range of business applications. Our R&D kit includes the very latest mobile devices including some which are not yet on general release. Whatever your needs, ask us first.
